Yes, I assumed this was personalized code. It's very impressive.
[Truthfully, Angel could probably get through all this, if not directly then through one of the back doors or another vulnerability, but not without the risk of setting off alarm bells and then she'd be shut out completely. It would be easier she figures, to gain Rhys's trust. She kind of hates herself in moments like this.]
As it stands, I cannot do background functions within your system, or operate independently in any way. In fact, all I can do right now is talk to you like this.
[This is, of course, a lie. But Angel can't let on how much access she already has without making herself seem suspicious. If she acts helpless now, she's more likely to gain entry to the more difficult stuff later.]
Could you please adjust your security settings and allow me clearance? I cannot be used to my full potential otherwise.

[ Its not as weird or creepy as it sounds alright. It's said in that weird way nerds talk to a particularly stunning piece of tech they come across and nothing more. Which...okay yeah maybe it's still a little creepy but Rhys is genuinely keen on any code that could create something like her. This is his thing. If he could code AIs for a living you bet he'd drop the Company for it in a heartbeat.
In the meantime though he'll fix those security settings to grant Angel access to his personal computer. ]

Please...don't call me that. You can call me Angel.
[She hopes Rhys hasn't heard the rumors about her, quiet as they may be, but even if he has she can deny affiliation. Angel is a pretty mundane title, as these things go.]
And that's correct. I am an AI.
[If the tone used for her former griping about a title sounded almost lifelike, then the one she has now has squashed any trace of that. When she calls herself an AI she sounds hollow.]

Alright, that should do it. How're those firewalls looking now Angel?

That folder labeled "Crapsome Jack" sure caught her attention though, she'll be taking a look and copying whatever is inside.]
Yes, thank you Rhys! I can now begin to incorporate myself into your system. As I install, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself so I can begin compiling the most optimal calendar for you?

It's going to be a pretty boring schedule. None of these reports are marked urgent and all I really need to do is have them filed to the appropriate division. It's...kind of a crummy job, actually. Can you do personal calendars? Beyond Company protocol.

[If that sounds like a challenge, it is.]

[ But he was raised by Qresh royals who owned large shares in the Company, so...that shouldn't really be all that surprising. ]
