1 - experimentation
Across the floor, there's an array of medical supplies that have been dashed against the floor; needles, stands, anything within reach has been haphazardly strewn around. There are experiment attendants on the floor, presumably knocked unconscious and with some of their limbs twisted out of shape, smears of blood painting the white tile. All you can feel is an insatiable anger, an endless mantra of get away get away get away.
But these feelings aren't your own - they're the feelings of the cause of the room looking like this. A small child, no older than 6, hunched over like a feral animal with drool and blood dribbling out the side of his mouth. A voice says over the intercom in a slightly agitated, but not surprised tone: Get that thing under control in there. If it keeps responding to the treatments like this -
The next thing you hear is a loud crash, something big and metal having been hurled at the source of the noise, accompanied by a curdling scream. The door opens from in front of where you'd been observing, making it appear as though you're being sent to subdue him. With eyes wide, his hands are quick to grab at things on the floor to throw towards you, yelling all the while. Despite the visibly bad mental and physical state he's in, it appears that he'll stop at nothing to rebel against the experiments, even if it means harming other people - that includes you.
There's a reason he's a failed experiment, afterall. ]
I am so very late, sorry! and feel no need to match me, i can't smalltext with my screen reader xD
The thrown objects were familiar, too, but not from this side. Ryner had done that too, for all the good it had done. Which had of course been none at all. Still, he'd been trained to fight, and easily dodged or blocked them, holding up a hand he hoped would be seen as friendly.
"Look, I'm not going to do anything to you, okay? We can figure this out if you just calm down for a minute. Tearing me apart isn't going to make it better."
