Capturing one of Kanda's ankles, he huffs, deftly plucking at the tied threads of laces. At least Kanda wears shorter boots than him so this process shouldn't be overly difficult if he can coax some concentration out of his partner.
He still hasn't started thinking about the ramifications or where this could lead, entirely too tired to throw himself into the frenzy of analytics just yet. Boot tossed haphazardly somewhere off to the side (where Kanda has thankfully not yet noticed a nest of papers beginning), he moves to the opposite ankle, clicking his tongue in light disapproval. ]
