He's silently asking--teasing, really--her if what he said was wrong, but whether or not she realizes that or even acknowledges it will be left unknown to the both of them. Instead when she leaves Crowley only releases a small breath before turning his attention to the stage once more, ignoring the drunkard man that places a hand to his shoulder that slurs an insult in his direction. (Which turns out to be a good decision because the man soon enough leaves.)
It's all too easy for him to focus on her, being able to indicate her presence by her heartbeat as half-lidded eyes watch her perform from his table. He's happy to know that he wasn't wrong; surrounded by all these people, men and women alike, he notices that Lapis has a distinct smell about her that makes her absolutely appetizing.
His features return to his usual wide-eyes and neutral smile once she returns, rising from his seat. ]
