[Jason's not very often on Leith—largely preferring to work on Westerley or pick up the occasional C&C out where he can get some peace and quiet in the black—so this is a pretty fair statement to make. But here he is, perched on a stack of crates at the black-market edges of the bazaar, waiting out the clock on a perfectly un-politically-related warrant regarding a jakk smuggler that had probably been half an excuse just to hop moons and check the temperature on the state of affairs here regarding the rat race. (Just because he's not participating doesn't mean he's not keeping himself updated.)
It also means he's less than convinced Koon's just here to say hello. Word gets around. Hardly comes as a shock that Koon was Derrish stock. (He doesn't exactly bother to hide the superior airs.) Lot of people with reason to have interest in that, all of a sudden.
