I haven't asked for help from them; I know what their answer will be.

[ She's a quiet, reserved girl that keeps to herself outside of any major Leithian towns. While she hasn't heard any distinct whispers from those around her, only a few looks from some, Alice is a bit paranoid that she'll make the situation worse if she interacts with them. ]

But it's all right, I've collected so much on my own, already. No one has thought to go through some of these things to make sure they're still good. I can't have too second-hand things. They deserve the best that we could give them.

[ Interestingly enough, Alice doesn't outright reject his offer to help her. ]
