We were still dealing with that... Whatever it was. That sickness. Attack. Most of the city was reeling with it, and their family members weren't even in the ground yet, and then we started hearing rumors about some meeting. No one knew what it was about for sure, but most people were guessing it wouldn't be good. By the time we found out that the accords were done for, a lot of Old Town was panicking, and the rest was just angry.
[She shrugs, glancing down to toy with the hem of her shirt.]
It started out quiet. Protests and meetings, but nothing violent, and then I think everyone started to realize that the Company wasn't going to listen, and that they didn't care, and it got... worse. The accords are the only thing most people have to keep them going here.
