[ Hawke's been here for a while before Hijikata arrived and it's not exactly for honorable reasons -- she wanted to take a nap first and it'd be easier to do so while preparing. The nap ended up prioritizing the preparation and so, as Hijikata arrives, Hawke considers informing him they're a bit low on ammo. And guns. And... well, everything.

She decides not to when she catches his expression and instead smiles cheerily as he joins her on the bridge. They have full gas, at least. That's good enough for her. ]
