[Kate goes down, but the pain grounds her, gives her enough foresight to pull an arrow from her quiver at the last second. It's another one of those wicked ones, this one made by Jack. As she falls, she tries to drive it into the side of his neck like a dagger, but her aim is thrown off enough by the fall that there's no way to tell if it will strike home or miss completely. If it does hit flesh, it's meant to dig in and extend razor sharp barbs—to tear chunks out, as Jack put it. She doesn't have time to pay attention to whether or not she's actually hit him, because she strikes the ground and the air is knocked painfully from her lungs, all in a rush.]
