[She swats him away almost impatiently when he starts to fuss, and then, paradoxically, steps forward to hug him tightly.]

I'm fine. Don't be so protective.

[But god, she was worried about him. It's so good to see him, and anyway, she's always felt more comfortable on a team in these situations.

Which is a weird thought. She's never been in a situation like this before.
