[She can admit to that, since she has a feeling that Rhys probably hasn't seen Giovanni in action, doesn't quite realize the extent of what's happening beneath the surface. Rhys is a good friend, but he's not the most observant.]

But I'm pretty sure he'd agree with me that you're a person, not a thing. That's why he can consider you a friend.
